We recently visited Knottingley, West Yorkshire, following our visit there last year. It was great to see the progress being made locally by community-led organisations.
At the Warwick Estate we visited Warwick Ahead, which was the Locally Trusted Organisation for the Big Local programme. Since our visit last year, Warwick Ahead have been awarded funding by the The National Lottery Community Fund. This will allow them to continue to play a vital role in their local community.
We then visited the Coalfields Regeneration Trust’s brilliant new Community Hub. The facility is one of several operated by the CRT and offers support physical health, mental wellbeing, skills development and wider community services.
